Marcella Echavarria is a Colombian born-New York based cultural entrepeneur. She uses photography as a tool to explore textures and gestures where the subtle call for permanence. Light and the fragility of the present moment are her two main sources of inspiration. She is obsessed with preserving traditions and works with designers and artisans to build brands as imprints of their work. Marcella: "I do not consider myself a photographer, I am more a visual storyteller. My camera is a tool to tell stories and those stories are usually of artisans, people making things, artists and of course, nature, the greatest artist of all."
