Karine N'guyen Van Tham has "the fiber in her". These are the words she uses to define her unconditional love of textiles. Student at the Beaux-Arts in Marseille, she then followed a training in upholstery. In 2013 she created her brand Van Yen Design to design linens, before deciding in 2017 to weave her own textiles. Today, with her Japanese Saori loom, she makes feminine accessories, sacred clothes (used for interior, as wall ornament), and also makes wall sculptures in linen and raw wood.
Her universe is linked to her natural environment. She uses plants to make her dye and hand weave her textiles. Since two years, she works with pine cones to create natural scales embroideries on her hanging clothes; True wall sculptures.
