During festival season the local people of the Chiapas region buy fowl and pick the feathers with their hands. These feathers are then washed intensively and dried to prepare them for weaving.
The wall hangings in the images are examples of the textile created on the loom, however, this technique is not limited to tapestries, and orders with specific designs can be customized. The feathers are available in grey, white or black.Designers can create their own designs and patterns to be woven on the loom.
