Adriana Fortunato is an Italian-Brazilian textile designer who specializes in handmade tablewear. She started her atelier in 2012 and established a new concept, one which exceeds traditional table formats. Her unique and exclusive pieces are surprising with their new forms and functionality, allowing for unexpected compositions to be created. Atelier Adriana Fortunato’s placemats, runners, napkins, and tablecloths are made of pure linen and hemp in various textures. The pieces are handmade using the following techniques: point ajour, filet embroidery and demi ajour.
A study in the field of contemporary design and production chains were decisive in her choice of materials and the finishings used. Adriana's experience as a consultant for sustainable projects drove to choose linen as the principal material, as well as to have a Masters of Linen (CELC) certified partner as a supplier.
All pieces of Adriana Fortunato are certified by Masters of Linen, a registered mark and sign of excellence for linen 100% made in Europe, from field to yarn to fabric.
