This poncho or cape hanging off the shoulders is called quechquemitl in Mexico where it has been worn since pre-Hispanic times. Made of hand spun sheep's wool, the colors are achieved through several baths of eucalyptus while the embroidery is made in Hueyapan Puebla with an ancient cross-stitch technique. This piece is entirely handmade.
One size. Dry clean only.
